Getting Ready

Doug and I went to Dallas today to help my grandma prepare for our annual Christmas Eve! I've always loved Christmas Eve with the fam as a child. My cousins and I would always go outside looking for Santa to cross by the moon :)

Since a lot of the family is going to be here this year, grandma wanted to put out her drummer boys. These things are the epitome of my Christmas as a kid. I love these little drummers! Doug has never seen them, so naturally I introduced him. They hit there little bells and make Christmas carols doing so.

We spent a while at grandma's then headed back to the house where we enjoyed an evening lounging and taking in of this festive time of year.
