One of the hotter days

I went for an earlyish walk/run this morning to try to beat the heat. By the time I got out there at 7.45 am it was already 30 degrees and warming up fast, with the result that I struggled with the running portions. But still managed to complete it and climbed straight into a cool shower when I got home.

It got up past 42 degrees today. I've stayed inside near the very ineffective old air conditioner, better than nothing! M has spent time outside stripping the old shed roof to make way for the new one. I'm not sure where he finds the willpower on a day like today. And I was informed that he only "nearly fell once", off the roof that is, when one of the trusses caught in his glove and tried to pull him down! Life is never boring, is it??
