The Cursing Stone of Carlisle

This is in the underpass at the entrance to Tullie House, Carlisle; it has been blamed for bad luck in the Carlisle area since its instillation, probably not true!! But don't let it put you off visiting Tullie House, and go quickly to see the Crosby Garrett Roman Helmet before it is whisked off to London; also definitely worth a look while you are there is the Hartnell to Amies exhibition.
