Sugar and spice and all things nice....

Walked out our front door this afternoon and walked along Avenida Diagonal and then through Eixample for three hours, circling back to our house. Barcelona's still in the throes of the festive period and getting ready not just for New Year, but the Three Kings on 6th January, which is much more celebrated here than 25th December. My blip's of sugary licorice strips at one of the many stalls on Gran Via selling gifts for the Three Kings.

The morning was taken up with finding out that one of Bb's bankcard's had been cloned in London in Covent Garden, then the gathering of all the papers to make the 'declaracion' at the police station. Tomorrow sees a visit to the bank, back to the police station again and then a potential two month wait till the cash is reimbursed. No-one should be 4,000 euros out of pocket for this length of time, especially at this time of year.
