Sari
Today was a very busy day again. In the last days before New Years there are everywhere celebrations - in schools, kindergarden etc. that we do not participated yet, and so yesterday we went to the Yolka (russ. for Christmas tree, although it's actually a New Year Tree, as the Christmas Tree was banned after the Revolution in 1917) into an art gallery, organized by some of our friends. No art - of course, it wouldn't have survived - but lots and lots of kids. My girls put on their original Indian Sari and looked so great! During the celebration there was some theatre performance (shadow theatre) and Dadushka Moroz (russ. Grandfather Frost) came with presents. In the end I played saxophone with an old friend - haven't played together for ages!
After the celebration we took a taxi to some other friends' (and former colleagues) house... We were 7 adults - same as about 14 years ago, when we first time met besides work at home - but now we have all together 9 kids.... The girls really enjoyed it there - lots of things to play with, nice kids.... Came home at about 11 p.m.
