Flying high!

One year ago today I signed up to Blipfoto so that I could start my journal on the 1st of January. However, there was a lovely sunset that evening so I took a few shots and I uploaded one just to see how it was done. This was the start of the obsession that has seen me buy three compact cameras (I keep dropping/breaking them), upgrade my bridge camera to a DSLR and picture everything I see as if through a lens.

My blip year has culminated in yesterday's blip (briefly) hitting the spotlight page so my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who commented, starred or favourited it . Today I had a walk round Gun Knowe Loch at Tweedbank, not for long though - it was freezing. Here is a young gull which kept flying past. Hopefully this will be the first of my blips with the wee thumbnail of last year's blip at the bottom right.
