Queensferry Crossing

On the road home we headed to Edinburgh to visit M and C and our two youngest Granddaughters. So a quick stop off at North Queensferry to take another shot of progress on the new bridge.

On the South shore the first of the concrete supports can be seen and in the foreground the first of the main towers has started to rise from the water. So nice to actually see some hard evidence of the new bridge after all this time.

Treated Mrs F to a Sunday carvery on the way home. Now time to chill and relax before getting back to work in the morning. Glass of red Sir? I don’t mind if I do.
