The wind and rain were crazy last night and kept me up most of the night. We had battened down everything in Mum's garden, so there wasn't much to blow away, there were just a few wonky trees and plants. Unfortunately when we checked in the loft, felt had fallen down and there was a very damp chimney. We did the repairs we could but it's another thing to tackle in the new year. We decided to go and check on my flat, and were greeted by a blocked road in the next village where this huge tree had blown down. They were so lucky it fell in to the road and not onto the tiny bungalow behind it. Everything was fine at the flat, so we went for a really nice long walk along the river, before heading back to Mum's for another Toy Story film and puzzle.
