AMAZING FOOD!

Well….. this evening we were invited to the home of a very lovely family who are asylum seekers from Gaza. They wanted to thank us for all our help and provided a veritable feast. I felt totally humbled and also embarrassed at how much food was on the table when I know they are struggling to make ends meet.

This was true arabian hospitality at it's best and most honest. Olfat has promised to teach me how to make some of the dishes to prepare for next year's International Women's Day celebrations in the North of England.
