Christmas Day

This was taken Christmas day and we worried it may be Doozzer's last photo. He had been in increasing pain since the weekend. He had temporary relief after a vet chiropractic treatment on Monday. As soon as the vet reopened from the holiday, we took him in and he was hospitalized for two days. Turns out he has spondylosis and several fused discs that had not presented any pain in the past. After a days of meds and rest, he is home and perky. Quite perky given he has six weeks of rest prescribed. First thing tonight when he came home, he headed for his Humpty pillow. It will be a long six weeks ahead.
