Pacific beach cantina

Awoke at god knows what o'clock thanks to babe needing to go to the loo. After walking around the park like a zombie I crawled back into bed finding my spot inbetween the doggies and managed to sleep in until a "late" 9:00am. Walked the doggies again then watched the Liverpool game before Skyping mum for a chat.

Went for a run with the doggies and then a quick gym sesh followed by a trip back to Aaron brothers to top up the wife's art supplies.

Then headed down to pacific beach the home of the surfer dude and college student to watch the critical chargers game accompanied by nachos and cheap beer (blipped). They needed a tie/win to get into the playoffs for the Super Bowl. Like most sports teams I support they do it the hard way....

Firstly they needed both Miami and Baltimore to lose in the earlier games which they duly did. Chargers were behind most of the game against Kansas but had opportunity to win it near the end of the game being 5 yards from a touchdown but ended up with a game tying field goal. Kansas then marched down the other end and only needed a field goal to win. They missed by inches so it went to OT.

First team to score a touchdown would win. We went first and almost lost as we tried to get first down which we did but Kansas thought they has turned over the ball and scored a touchdown. However we had made first down and ended up with a field goal putting us 3 points ahead. Kansas then had their chance to score, needing a touchdown to put us out. Thankfully despite being close we prevented them scoring so we won the game! Means we are in the first round next weekend vs Cincinnati first time
