One of the worst days of the year for me is the day I take my Christmas decorations and the tree down. Not only is it a time-consuming pain, but as with most people, I love how Christmas looks and feels in my house. This year was especially tough because I absolutely adored our tree and the 16 sets of lights kind of glow it added to our poorly lit living room. It is on this night that I always find myself online, shopping for a new floor lamp to try to fill the void.
Although my yearly online lamp order has already been placed, I was able to find a temporary but meaningful replacement for the pieces of holiday flair with multiple bouquets of yellow and green flowers throughout my house leftover from my Grandma's memorial service on Friday. I Love the reminders of my Grandma and her favorite colors; I love the beauty in the simplistic arrangements; and I love the warm and natural light it brings to my home.
