Oh, it's been a big day.....

The parents of these two went off to work this morning bright and early.

We set of to Petone to play mini golf....turned out to be an epic , with the kids fading on the 16th hole.  We continued on and finished the round.....nana got a hole in one, worth telling the blip world??

Then after feeding the flagging pair, we continued around the bay towards Eastborne, the bottom picture is them on the jetty at Days Bay.

McDonalds for lunch (as you do), then drove into the city for some fun at the waterfront.  We had heard there was a Kids Carnival, not to be found, still they had fun rolling down the hill, climbing trees etc...simple pleasures and cheap!!

There were so many blip options today including a very cool colourful boat house, Pohutakawa tree with the harbour behind, the kids running towards the camera and much more.   But decision made, the top two when they were tree climbing.

Cool kids eh?  50mm today again.

Doug and I opted to walk the Ngaio Gorge track after all the above activities, bad decision. Took us an hour and half, finishing off in the rain.  OMG...wet tee shirt, not a pretty sight!
