Power Lines

For some reason this pylon looked much more imposing when stood under it than this really portrays. The early afternoon today had looked like it was going to yield an impressive sunset so although I had another shot in mind initially, I headed for a possible viewpoint as dusk approached.

Unfortunately the anticipated sunset fizzled out so I started the walk back to the car and came across this view instead which, as I said, is very imposing to stand under.
