Little lights
Our third (!) Christmas at Granny and Grandad England's ended today with a rather early, long but very quiet commute back to Edinburgh for a busy day full of bargain hunters. Chris took the girls to a children's post-Christmas party, such a thoughtful idea.
Back together at home, we are all in need of an early night, clumsy with tiredness. It didn't stop me noticing however that this will be my 300th blip ( and that I have quite a bit of back blipping to do if I am to make it close to 365 in January)...
I chose this one, based on an idea I had earlier in December, to link blip 300 with the 300 or so tiny lights on our tree. It's not quite as I imagined but it's true to the day.
The Christmas tree is beginning to droop and lose it's needles but this girl is still as bright, excited and delighted by the festive season as before, as is her energetic sister. We still have gifts to open and celebrations to come so it's certainly not over yet. Our little lights keep shining!
