Rain and mud today!

Yesterday we hadn't gone right to the end of the Fairy Glen to see both the waterfalls so today I donned my waterproof boots, waterproof trousers, waterproof coat, hat etc. once more and we squelched all the way up the Glen again, much to the dog's delight. We met no-one today, no other hardy dog walkers to amuse the dogs. But we did enjoy ourselves, I think it is Poppy's favourite walk, she loves all the smells, the streams to splash in, the banks to run up and down and the waterfalls to hunt for sticks that have been washed down by the rain and wind.

Unfortunately Bud had to go to the Vets this afternoon as he is poorly again. According to the vet he has a temperature and an infection so is on a course of antibiotics. We shall look after him.
