Obsession

Master B has developed a new obsession... If he likes the look of some food, mainly chocolates or cakes, he wont eat it until a photo has been taken of it! It's a good job he requested this photo be taken today of his chocolate mousse snowman otherwise I'd have no Blip.

This morning was spent food shopping and exchanging unwanted Christmas presents (feels so bad and so good at the same time!) We had planned a film this afternoon, but instead of a film Mr B sat on the carpet with Master B making a cardboard guitar and Miss B and I stuck fluffy backed stickers she's saved in a folder into a notebook (our kids like to save EVERYTHING!) Then the best bit... I sat snuggled under a blanket with my chidlers and read one of the items we exchanged a too-small onesie for: a Famous Five book 'Five go to treasure island'. Chapter after chapter I read while they snuggled, their eyes staring into the middle distance as their imaginations whirled. We got through 6 chapters! All rather special as the rain and wind swirled outside the window.
