STRING OF PEARLS

The topic for today is "Purchased" so this beautiful pearl necklace I bought for Kathy's birthday gift is the ideal subject matter. Kathy's birthday is just after Christmas, so she sometimes gets her Christmas presents and birthday presents all "jammed" into one. Not this year!! We waited until AFTER Christmas and then went shopping together so that she could pick out the perfect necklace. This is the one she chose, and I must say, it looks beautiful on her!! You may not think letting the recipient select her own gift is "proper", but take it from me...it saves a LOT of returns, and you always know that she will love what you bought her!!
