Craft morning and big boy bed

This morning we set to work on the thank you letters for all the lovely Xmas presents that C received, there was a lot of paint brandished around, sequins, glue, stickers and some rather nice art work at the end of it. The purple splodges on our cream carpet were also quite artistic!

We had a lovely afternoon walk through muddy puddles, the playground nearby, over the bridge to watch the trains and back through the leaves (wellies a must).

Meanwhile Daddy was busy building C's big boy bed for a trial run this evening, Grandma had found some lovely seaside sticker decorations to add to C's big boy pirate bedroom. We assembled all of the above while a roofer came to fix our loose roof tiles following the gales last night.

The results looked great - C was so excited to see everything and couldn't wait to get in his new bed. Luckily he was so tired that he fell asleep straight away. We shall see what happens....
