Scenes of Carnage

Dogs are carnivores, predators, so I guess Finlay - the cute puppy from yesterday's blip is just following his nature. Certainly, we would rather he follows his nature on the stuffed toys we buy him than on the legs of our furniture, but it's hard not to be unsettled by scenes like this.

If he is indeed following his nature it's reasonable to assume that the decapitated, eviscerated monkey, the one-armed bear and the other creature with distinctive puncture marks in it's ear were, in his mind, prey. Makes me glad we keep the little bugger in a crate at night.
