unstoppable

Pierre headed off to work this morning...his penultimate day!

I got up and helped Annie with preparations for tomorrow. Then, on Pierre's return, we drove over to his flat to give it a once over before he hands the keys over tomorrow!

As is always the case, it was very strange to see his place so empty. He'd only been there a year.

Upon our return to Pierre's mum and dad's, I decorated my Christmas cake. A friend of the family was at the house, so I had a right audience watching me do the marzipan, then the ready-to-roll, then the decoration...ah well, it turned out great, so the pressure didn't get to me too much obviously ;)

A late tea and then to bed.
