Christmas 2013

We had a wonderful day 'in the country' at our Grandkids home. They hosted Christmas dinner for the family. There were 12 of us and it was such a good time. The kids opened their gifts and had fun enjoying them while dinner was prepared. Our Grandson smoked the turkey and it was just wonderful. I had never had one smoked before, so was a bit curious about the outcome. We were all very pleasantly surprised. It was so very juicy and flavorful.
Here you will see "ma and pa" with their girls, then our Great Grands after putting their "space ship" together and in the process of painting it. Then our Grandson starting to carve the turkey with his lovely wife stirring the gravy.
It was a wonderful day. We all prepared different dishes and had a feast!
