Up at 6am for a early departure to Rottnest Island.

Drove to Hillary's where we picked up our bikes for the day. The boat was like a small condor and takes around 50 minutes to egg there.

Rather overcast and windy today, much better weather for cycling than Laura and Ad had last your.

Couldn't go to the beach you went to last year as the wind was blowing in, so we went back to Parker Lookout beach.

After an hour or so we headed off for a cycle around the island. Wasn't bad only got off once to push the bike up the hill.

Sat on this beach had a swim then cycled back to the harbour for a lovely cool cider.

Came back at 3pm, drove home as we are all going to relax before having a BBQ and seeing Sydney see in the New Year, which will be 10pm our time.

We are going to celebrate the New Year at 8am our time so this will be midnight with you guys.
