Spitalfields

Enjoyed a walk up via Threadneedle St to Spitalfields Market. This is the beautiful Hawksmoor Church there.

But the main excitement of the day was going to Sadlers Wells to see Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake. I have wanted to see it for a long time and it didn't let me down, just brilliant. The swans were so menacing and physical, wonderful to watch, but a lot of other amazing things happening too, like the hilarious night club scene. The Queen was beautifully costumed. The orchestra were fab too.
