Hope for the Flowers by Trina Paulus

So, as we all know I've been on quite a journey. About two months ago I left Berlin in a bit of a flurry. There was a dark cloud similar to the one that Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh has. Only it wouldn't leave. No big deal, except that generally I am labeled as a perpetually peppy person, my therapist says I have the most upbeat and energetic depression she's ever seen. So there's that.

I wouldn't even say it's depression, but it's low and dark for me.

Here's the deal though. Like most things in life, it's been a catalyst for me and the time I am spending in Boston working through stuff and gaining my bearings is becoming life giving and invaluable in ways that words would not and could not begin to describe.

A dear friend here (point one - I have been here two months and I have dear friends. That's a Thank You God if I've ever had one)gave me the book that is pictured. It's a beautiful story of Chrysalis and I've read it a couple of times in the last two days. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a little bit of hope in the process. It's $10.95 and I bet you could find it cheaper on yahoo or something like that.

I also have to say a HUGE thank you to Blip. Particularly Carol and Deb whose words of love and encouragement have brought continual lumps to my throat and hope to my weary heart. Who knew you could love people so much that you've never met. Talk about thankfulness.

Get the book, you won't regret it.
