Happy 2014!

Certainly not the best fireworks shot you'll see here tonight/tomorrow (I have already seen far better and it's only 12.40am!), but possibly the furthest away? The city is a good 25km from my house, but we can still here the noise of the firework display and get a pretty good view (since the neighbours cut their trees down – this is the first time I have really got to appreciate the fireworks from the house for many a year).

I hope 2014 is a good year for us all.
