Viburnum x bodantense "Dawn"

Another miserable wet day. I managed to take this picture once there was a break in the rain. When will it stop? On the dawn of a New Year, this seemed appropriate being named "Dawn". This shrub is in our front garden and has always flowered well. The flowers smell wonderful and apparently when brought into the house, last a long time. This is a popular shrub planted in gardens up and down the country. It grows up to 10 feet - ours is probably about 8 feet! It is stated to flower between mid October and March, so it is well within time. At a time of year when there isn't usually much in flower this is another welcome sight.

I'd like to wish everyone in Blipworld a very Happy New Year and great pictures for 2014!. I would also like to extend my thanks to my four contacts for all their kind comments and encouragement and for making this so enjoyable! Thank You to you all!
