Old Cardiff

Cardiff city centre is an amazing blend of the old and the new. There are wonderfully elaborate Edwardian arcades, sitting alongside the modernist steel and glass structures that form part of the John Lewis centre. The Tabernacle Building was built in the early 19thC but fits in well with its more modern surroundings.
Still not feeling well so gave the party we were invited to a miss. So here we are on New Year's Eve watching TV having eaten a microwave meal (mother's oven not working) watching television. Bliss.
