Thames side walk
After a fairly hectic Christmas, travelling and seeing people, Mrs W and I got out for a walk by the fast flowing River Thames between Maidenhead and Cookham. Lots of birds for us (and especially Mrs W.) to enjoy; geese in great numbers, cormorants, red kites and newcomers to the scene since we moved to Wales: parakeets!
I liked the brightness of the berries in this scene, and the other interesting plants in the foreground - through which some of the geese can be spied.
