Calm in the Storm

The Forth and Clyde Canal
Had hoped to blip the Kelpies, but the rain was teaming down
Drove back up the road today
left early afternoon and the sky was already like dusk.
By the time we were half way home visibility was almost nil
with the spray from the lorries forming a wall across the road.
Made it home in one piece, exhausted
