Race to the Hole in the Rock

Bob's friend stayed over last night & they wanted to play video games all day today.

"No way", I said, "it is too beautiful out there. We need to go on a hike." Bob fussed and fussed but finally gave his approval to go to the Hole in the Rock. His friend had never been, so unlike Bob, he was quite excited to go. In fact, the boys had such a good time that we spent about 2.5 hours at the park. Then they were famished. By the time they finished their late lunch, there was only an hour left for video games. Mission Accomplished.
