Walk in the woods

Nearly spent New Year in the woods. Left the house a little later than planned and by the time we got to explore the woods the sun was going down. We got a little lost after walking up and up the hill that was muddy and steep then tried to find a track down the hill but just seemed to be walking further into the darkness. Although we just went round in a circle which I still don't really get how. Then had to go down the steep muddy hill with practically no day light and with no balance as my ears are blocked with a cold flu thing. Son no 2 thankfully let me lean on him as otherwise I would have been rather muddy..

It was a bit of an adventure to end the year on. Happy New Year!!
