The Woolly Acrobatics

A less than serious End to the Year.

I just found this pose set up on our sideboard in time to Blip before 2013 has become history— sheep knitted by Helen for our 'Messy Church' Christmas event, known as The Knitivity. Sheep were knitted by members of the congregation and placed in shops around the neighbourhood for the children of the town to find and to 'collect' their names. I don't know what the prize was for the most names, but our own little family of sheep are enjoying themselves, for sure. The children came to realise that the Christmas story was not so much Rudolf and Santa, but that 'While Shepherds watched...', the Lord of the Universe, later to receive the symbolic title 'The Lamb of God', became human for you and me... A Story 'to be continued…'!
