New Years Eve

What a year! I was thinking about this last year, as you do and thinking yup...all is good. I have my family, everyone is healthy, my child is happy and developing into a mini human of awesomeness, I have a job I like with generally great co-workers.....I think...pretty good year.

Then my husband reminds me. This year we have been pretty ill with norovirus, I had pleurisy and a chest infection. Our bottom floor was flooded and we had to move out for a month and a bit, relatives had strokes and falls that landed them in the hospital. friends lost people they love. I got sacked, I was unemployed, we had (lack of) money issues, we had lots of car problems. There will be more but I can't think of the other bad bits and much prefer not to recall any more.

So, considering all that, I have decided it was a good year. Welcome 2014, I'm ready for ya! :)
