Lazy(ish) day
Didn't really do much today other than survive a powercut (it was only an hour or so), surf blip (trying to ignore all the same old nonsense journals that seem to be taking over the main pages and instead using the 'random' tab (which I recommend if you want to chance upon some of the excellent new blippers that are on here (or even just stray outwith your normal blip comfort zone))), pay my internet bill (in a unexpectedly efficient Vodafone shop where only four people jumped the queue because they didn't see why they should have to wait like everyone else (behaviour which is rewarded with immediate service from the reps)), play a bit of Chrono Trigger (a very highly rated Nintendo DS game) and enjoy a beer by the corniche during sunset (nothing to add to that except to balance the (noticable) overuse of parentheses in this paragraph).
When Larissa came back from work we headed to Lebanese Nights for some Crispy Chicken (written on the bill as 'Creisby Cheikein' and pronounced the same way by the waiter) and post-work deconstruction. On the way we saw a small child lying on the pavement outside a shop. The child had a bit of string tied around his ankle, the other end of which was tied around a plant pot. Very odd (and very blippable too I suppose).
"Have a great <insert day of week here>!" he (me, not the tied-up kid) added facetiously.
