The Craggy Interior of Great Barrier Island

The interior of the Barrier is mountainous and has challenging terrain and is a walkers paradise. We're going to check out the hot pools soon, when No.1 son arrives from Japan. Go Large to see more of the steep cliffs.

I think I've had a dose of the flu. 6 days on, the pains and aches have mostly subsided, leaving me feeling like a wet dishrag. Did anyone dare mention the word 'holiday'?
