Here's how I spent New Year's Eve

Writing a syllabus! Christmas is over, and it's back to work for me. One syllabus is written, and I have two and 2/3 left to write. But my day hasn't been all hard work. I got my samurai on and saw 47 Ronin, and I'm off to a party in a bit.

It's lovely to have friends to ring in the new year with. Five years ago, I was dumped on NYE, and after that I vowed to not let the actions of one boy mar this day. And I've spent the last five NYE's surrounded by good friends.
