The Thai people celebrate three times a year the New Year festival. The western New Year, the Chinese New Year and their own Songkran New Year on the 13th of April. Just now they live in the year 2556.

But since 1940 they official live with the calendar of the western world. In the shop you can still today see local products where the "best before" day is marked with the old calendar.
