The Tree

Late this year, but the tree is finally up. The family found it out in the back 40. I object. I don't believe in killing the trees especially when we don't plant any in its place. If it were up to me, I would decorate a bare branch, fallen dead during the year. It would be beautiful ... painted and very simple in its simplicity. Still, the newly decorated tree is beautiful and I appreciate its sacrifice to help us celebrate the season.
