First sunrise

Being in the Land of the Rising Sun, I was happy to be invited to go watch the sunrise on New Years day. Went to bed before the clock struck midnight, woke up at 1, out of the apartment by 2, then a couple hour drive down to the beach to wait for the sun to come up. It was fairly cloudy, but it allowed for us to see the sun as a perfect red-orange circle. A beautiful way to start 2014.

I also decided I needed to start learning how to use post-editing software. I think I went a little overboard on this one, the second photo to edit. But it's a start.

Also took a lot of pictures with my Nikon F2. Can't wait to get those developed.
