Easy Entry

Easy out... A very relaxing end to 2013 the last few days in San Remo.

For reasons still to be related, we had a very soft 31st and ate a quiet dinner at home. Then over to the old port where Nek was having a concert. (big Italian pop star and also of some international fame) We escaped the crowd right away as not really very safe with people lighting off fireworks all around us. That was enough to upset CC that we barely managed to get through the main fireworks at midnight. I only managed a few "good" shots with the M9 and so that will be another attempt for another time! Thankfully, no partiers in the apartment next to ours like last year that kept us up until the wee hours. ha... even so, we managed to sleep in this morning until late.

This is the sight that I awoke to this morning... Some energetic rowers (God bless them!) and the typical fishermen further out. I like the way the sunrays fan out through a cloud break on the horizon. :)
