Half of me

Like Janus, I am looking into the New Year and wondering what it will hold. It is my sunny side that I am revealing so note the degree of optimism! It is only half of me which led me to reflect on how much of ourselves we reveal to others on social networking, on Blip and in real life. I am a WYSIWYG sort of chap but that does not mean to say that all is necessarily revealed! We all polish our public appearance. I have made many virtual friends on Blip and have met some of them in real life. No doubt there are those out there who pose and conceal their true natures. Nevertheless, I am heartened by the fact that those I have met have always corresponded with how I imagined them to be. Looking forward then, I wish you all a very Happy New Year and a fulfilling 2014.
