Hearts

The mountains have disappeared, the mainland has gone, the weather is truly vile. However, this is not a bad thing given we were in need of a rest.

We walked along the beach this morning before the rain and wind came in. Two seals were on the shoreline in different places but both made a dash for the water while we were still some distance away. This is one of them eyeing us up from safety. Little Dog has never had the whiff of seal before and spent some time ignoring us while she got the hang of the scent left on the sand.

It's not the best of shots but I love its heart shaped nose... A seal fave to you all for all those pics I'm missing out on whilst off wifi!
