Cutting wood

Had a stroll on Gullane beach this morning with Christine, then came home to Richard cutting wood, so I joined in and did some too. Then I found myself doing some gardening, and would still be out there if it hadn't come on to rain. It doesn't feel like new year, it just feels like a quiet winter's day.
