Aftermath

Happy New Year, everybody ! :-)
A new year, new beginnings, good intentions and resolutions !
Last night's indulgences like the nice champagne will be the last for at least until the Bard's celebration later this month and only after we clear up the leftovers today :-)

When I woke up after sleeping in the first thing to do was clear up the kitchen and do the dishes left over from last night's New Year's Eve supper. I'd been thinking about the first photo for the 2014 Flickr Weekly Alphabet Challenge group and the piles of dishes, glassware and remnants of champagne seemed like a good subject for "Aftermath". My Blip today is another of the pictures I took before the kitchen was cleared ;-)
