Suspension Bridge

Went to see my wife in the nursing home and on my way home stopped off at the embankment to grab a few pics, fortunately the rain had stopped. The Suspension Bridge was constructed in 1888 to provide access from The Embankment to Mill Meadows, which Bedford Corporation had purchased in 1883.
