Hogmanay Mushrooms
Happy New Year!
A reasonably early night meant Izaak, Charlee, and I could go out for an extended muddy walk through Dawsholm Park before the rains arrived.
I love Dawsholm Park - its not looked after by park wardens and gardeners, meaning Mother Nature is left to her own devices. So your left with a beautiful unkempt wood with muddy trails, a fast flowing Kelvin river, and lots of old trees.
Across the main bridge across the River Kelvin we came across a clearing with tree logs that been covered by mushrooms. This photo was the best of the handheld shots.
Note to self - bring a tripod.
