VIEW UPON HERSTELLE

I walked alone this first day of the year 2014. Along the Weser to Würgassen and back nearly the same way.
In the morning we had dismantled the monster tree and guess what Piet Hein has put the branches of the fir tree upon what we thing could happen to be a shelter of the raccoons, that will keep them still warmer, we hope.
Yesterday evening we ate the apple turnovers (delicious), drank at midnight a glass of Sekt (agreeable), had watched the DVD of The Fledermaus (the bavarian one with Eberhard Wächter, Pamela Coburn, Janet Perry etc.), till the last act (that is situated in prison). We admired the sparkling fireworks in the valley and slept well after that.

My haiku:

Undisturbed flowing
The river has it memories
Of her origins?

And the proverb"

Rivers need a spring.

1640 in G. Herbert, Outlandish Proverbs.
