Be careful what you wish for....

Today, I have done nothing more strenuous than travel the path between fridge, kettle and tv...

At the moment, I'm lying on the sofa, watching Big. It's one of my favourite films - sweet, funny, and clever, and always makes me cry at the end.

In the story, a little boy makes a wish, which magically comes true - but as is frequently the case in life, it turns out that that which he thought would make him happy, didn't.

(I've often wished for money, good looks, talent and a devoted husband, but thank God none of it has been granted to me.......I'd hate to be miserable.)
