Kit!

One of the highlights of this cruise, like our last one, was our stop in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Our very good friends moved here at the same time we moved from NY. Their son Kit was Bob's best friend since he was 1 year old. In the past 2.5 years, the boys' interests seem to have diverged. Kit is quite the athlete and even his favorite video games are soccer. Bob is much more cerebral and not nearly as coordinated as Kit. It was a bit painful/frustrating to see the boys have difficulty relating to one another. If they had more time, I think they would have been fine. But we only had 4 hours.

Fortunately, they parents got along as well as always. I really miss Kit's Mom. She is one of my very best friends and we have managed to stay that way despite the distance. 4 hours was definitely not enough.
